Ghosts and the Paranormal at Lake Bomoseen in Castleton, Vermont:
Residents near Lake Bomoseen report that on nights of a full moon they will sometimes see the apparition of a rowboat making its way toward West Castleton Bay. The unique thing about this rowboat is that it glides smoothly, barely disturbing the surface of the water. Residents living along the shoreline of Lake Bomoseen claim that years ago, laborers in the area would cross Lake Bomoseen to get to a tavern on the other side. One night, three men crossed Lake Bomoseen in a row boat. They never returned and their bodies were never found.
