Hanson is located in eastern Massachusetts in Plymouth County. It is a small town of about 10,000 residents.

The Plymouth County Hospital aka Hanson Tuberculosis Hospital was built in 1923 to function as a sanitarium to treat TB victims from Boston and Plymouth County. Hanson Tuberculosis Hospital became Plymouth County Hospital when new antibiotics lessened the need for sanitariums. The name of the facility again changed in 1982 to Cranberry Specialty Hospital when its main focus was changed to providing long-term care to patients stricken with chronic illnesses.

In 1991, the 60 patients at Cranberry Specialty Hospital were transferred to Middleborough and the old hospital building was abandoned. In 1999, the 56-acre property was sold to the city of Hanson. In 2001, Baran Partners purchased 23 acres and made plans to build townhouses and an assisted living facility, but these plans fell through.

Unfortunately, the Plymouth County Hospital has been host to vandalism and arson. The buildings are slated for demolition due to fire and water damage.

Get permission before visiting this location. Police patrol this area heavily and they will arrest you and you will spend the night in jail if you are caught trespassing here.

Visitors to the Hanson Tuberculosis Hospital have reported capturing orbs and light anomalies in photos, feelings of uneasiness, strange sounds, and cold spots. Disembodied voices and strange sounds like the sound of music have been reported here. Electrical items also tend to malfunction according to some reports.

People see ghost I got pulled back into the basement by my foot and then my foot was slammed to the ground my friend got his shirt grabbed earlier that night and when we were walking past one of the cremation machines I heard a voice say get out it was creepy but we continued to push through the feeling
