I was staying at this hotel for business. I was not ghost hunting, but had an experience I cannot explain, and think it may have been paranormal. A huge lightening and thunderstorm had just passed through, and I was up late working on my computer. The computer desk was facing toward the entry way to the hotel room, but I was focused on the computer for several hours leading up to the experience. Something caught my eye, and when I looked up, I saw the figure of a woman walk into my room, but the door had not opened. Then it disappeared. I was startled, and my heart was racing. I got up and checked in the bathroom just looking for an explanation - no one was there. The strange energy lingered until I finally fell asleep hours later, but I had no other experiences the rest of my stay in the 2 nights before or 4 nights after. No alcohol or other substances were involved, and I hadn't been watching or reading anything that had me thinking about ghosts. Room 236.
PS Later in the week, I asked a restaurant waiter if anyone had mentioned seeing ghosts, and they hadn't but they shared the question with the bartender, and they had heard similar stories.
